How to cancel Paramount+
On paramountplus.com: profile › Account › Subscription › Cancel subscription, and it runs to the end of the paid month. Most people, though, subscribed through Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple, Google or Sky, and those are cancelled there.
If you subscribed on paramountplus.com
- Sign in at paramountplus.com in a browser and open your profile › Account.
- Under Subscription, choose Cancel subscription (or Manage, then turn off automatic renewal).
- Confirm. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; watchlist and profiles stay on the account.
If you subscribed through Amazon, Apple, Google or Sky
- Amazon: Prime Video › Channels › Manage channels, or amazon.de › Account & Lists › Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
- Apple: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Paramount+. Google Play: profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
- Sky: Paramount+ is part of the Sky Cinema package and ends only with the Sky contract; see the Sky guide.
Before you cancel
- Notice period
- None. Cancel before the next billing date and the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
- Refunds
- No refund of the running period. An annual plan runs to the end of the paid year.
- Worth knowing
- Your bank statement tells you where to cancel: Paramount+ bills direct subscriptions itself; if the line says Amazon, Apple or Google, cancel there and the Paramount+ site will show no cancel button.
- A free trial through Amazon Channels converts automatically; cancel it in Manage channels before the trial ends.
- Cancelling does not delete the account. Watchlist and profiles are kept for a return.
Your rights in the EU
These apply in most EU countries on top of whatever the service’s own terms say. The detail varies by country, so treat this as the floor, not the full picture.
- 14 days to change your mind. For most contracts you sign online you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. For a digital service you start using straight away, the seller can ask you to give up that right at checkout, which is what the tick-box you clicked past was for, or charge you for the part you used.
- Auto-renewal has to be clear. A service that renews automatically has to tell you so before you sign up, including how long each renewal lasts and what it costs. Some countries go further: in Germany, a contract signed since March 2022 can only renew indefinitely if you can then cancel monthly, and notice periods are capped at one month. France, Austria, Romania and Sweden require a separate reminder before a renewal.
- A cancel button, in Germany. If you signed up online with a company selling in Germany, its website has to carry a clearly labelled cancellation button since July 2022, and cancelling has to be as easy as signing up was. Across the EU, an equivalent withdrawal function for the 14-day right became mandatory on 19 June 2026.
- Keep the confirmation. Cancel through the account page or the official form rather than by replying to a no-reply address, screenshot the confirmation, and keep the email. If a charge lands after that date, the confirmation is what gets it reversed.

Why is there no cancel button in my Paramount+ account?
Because someone else bills you: Amazon, Apple, Google or Sky. Paramount+ cannot end a subscription it does not charge for. Cancel with the biller.
Does cancelling stop Paramount+ immediately?
No. You keep watching until the end of the period already paid for, then access ends. The account itself stays.
I have Paramount+ through Sky. Can I cancel just that?
No. Through Sky it is a benefit of the Sky Cinema package, so it ends when that package or the Sky contract does.
