How to cancel Bolt Plus

In the Bolt app: Profile › Subscriptions › Manage subscription › Cancel subscription, at least 24 hours before the billing date. Benefits last to the end of the paid period. Within the first 14 days you can cancel with a pro-rata refund.

Bolt Plus page (cancel in the app) Checked 14 September 2026

In the Bolt app (iPhone or Android)

  1. Open the Bolt app and tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions (or Bolt Plus).
  2. Tap Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription.
  3. Choose a reason if asked and confirm. Do this at least 24 hours before the end of the billing cycle, or the next payment goes through.
  4. The screen confirms the end date; benefits stay until then.

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play

  1. Where Bolt Plus was bought through the store, it is cancelled in Settings › your name › Subscriptions (Apple) or Play Store › Payments & subscriptions (Google). The Bolt app tells you which applies.

Before you cancel

Notice period
None, but cancel at least 24 hours before the billing date; a cancellation inside that window may not stop the next charge.
Refunds
Within 14 days of subscribing you can cancel without a reason and get back the proportion of the period not used. After that the fee is non-refundable; benefits run to the end of the cycle.
Worth knowing
  • A free trial converts to a paid month when it ends. Cancelling during the trial ends the benefits immediately, not at the trial’s end.
  • The yearly plan is charged in one go and is only refundable in the first 14 days.
  • Cashback earned as Bolt credit stays usable after cancelling; it is not paid out.

Your rights in the EU

These apply in most EU countries on top of whatever the service’s own terms say. The detail varies by country, so treat this as the floor, not the full picture.

  • 14 days to change your mind. For most contracts you sign online you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. For a digital service you start using straight away, the seller can ask you to give up that right at checkout, which is what the tick-box you clicked past was for, or charge you for the part you used.
  • Auto-renewal has to be clear. A service that renews automatically has to tell you so before you sign up, including how long each renewal lasts and what it costs. Some countries go further: in Germany, a contract signed since March 2022 can only renew indefinitely if you can then cancel monthly, and notice periods are capped at one month. France, Austria, Romania and Sweden require a separate reminder before a renewal.
  • A cancel button, in Germany. If you signed up online with a company selling in Germany, its website has to carry a clearly labelled cancellation button since July 2022, and cancelling has to be as easy as signing up was. Across the EU, an equivalent withdrawal function for the 14-day right became mandatory on 19 June 2026.
  • Keep the confirmation. Cancel through the account page or the official form rather than by replying to a no-reply address, screenshot the confirmation, and keep the email. If a charge lands after that date, the confirmation is what gets it reversed.

Questions

Do I keep Bolt Plus benefits until the end of the month after cancelling?

Yes, if you cancel outside a free trial. Discounts, cashback and surge protection continue until the billing cycle ends. During a trial, cancelling switches them off straight away.

Can I get a refund on Bolt Plus?

In the first 14 days, yes: Bolt refunds the unused part of the period. After that, no; the subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.

I cancelled but was still charged.

Bolt needs the cancellation at least 24 hours before the billing time. If yours was later than that, the charge is for a final cycle; contact Bolt support in the app with the timestamp if it was earlier.
