How to cancel Uber One
In the Uber or Uber Eats app: Account › Uber One › Manage membership › End membership › End Uber One, at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Benefits last until the next billing date. Payments are generally not refunded.
In the Uber or Uber Eats app
- Open the app and tap Account (bottom right), or the menu lines on the web.
- Tap Uber One, then Manage membership.
- Tap End membership, then End Uber One to confirm.
- Do this at least 48 hours before the renewal date shown; inside that window, message support from the same screen so it is on record.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play
- A membership started through the store is cancelled in Settings › your name › Subscriptions (Apple) or Play Store › Payments & subscriptions (Google). The Uber One screen tells you where it is billed.
Before you cancel
- Notice period
- Cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds
- Uber One payments are non-refundable in most markets. The 14-day EU withdrawal right applies to a new membership if you have not used a benefit; ask support in the app.
- Worth knowing
- A free trial or promotional period converts automatically. The renewal date and the price after the promotion are both on the Uber One screen.
- Ending the membership in the Uber app also ends it for Uber Eats; it is one membership.
- Cancelling in the last 48 hours can still let the renewal through. Do it early and keep the confirmation.
Your rights in the EU
These apply in most EU countries on top of whatever the service’s own terms say. The detail varies by country, so treat this as the floor, not the full picture.
- 14 days to change your mind. For most contracts you sign online you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. For a digital service you start using straight away, the seller can ask you to give up that right at checkout, which is what the tick-box you clicked past was for, or charge you for the part you used.
- Auto-renewal has to be clear. A service that renews automatically has to tell you so before you sign up, including how long each renewal lasts and what it costs. Some countries go further: in Germany, a contract signed since March 2022 can only renew indefinitely if you can then cancel monthly, and notice periods are capped at one month. France, Austria, Romania and Sweden require a separate reminder before a renewal.
- A cancel button, in Germany. If you signed up online with a company selling in Germany, its website has to carry a clearly labelled cancellation button since July 2022, and cancelling has to be as easy as signing up was. Across the EU, an equivalent withdrawal function for the 14-day right became mandatory on 19 June 2026.
- Keep the confirmation. Cancel through the account page or the official form rather than by replying to a no-reply address, screenshot the confirmation, and keep the email. If a charge lands after that date, the confirmation is what gets it reversed.

Do I keep the Uber One discounts after cancelling?
Yes, until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that the app returns to standard pricing and delivery fees.
Can I get a refund on Uber One?
Generally not; payments are non-refundable. If you just joined and have not used any benefit, the EU 14-day withdrawal right should apply: ask support through the app within 14 days.
Why can’t I find Uber One in my app?
Uber One appears under Account in both the Uber and Uber Eats apps once you are a member. If it is not there, the membership may be on another Uber account or billed by an app store; check the store’s Subscriptions list.
